What a luxury it is to have a room dedicated to sewing. However, it is bittersweet. I have been raising my grandchild. He has gone to live with his mother. I miss him terribly, but I am glad to have a room in which to let my creative juices flow. I haven't done any fashion sewing for some time (always putting it off until I lose those 30 pounds!), but I have been sewing for my home. So, I decided to begin my blog by showing the transition from a boy's room to a sewing room. The stripes on the walls are painted 6" wide in two shades of blue.
